Abstract:The Wangpeng Avenue Municipal Engineering Project is a north-south arterial road, which is an important transportation hub to connect the Xiaomo area and the central area of the Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone. Combined with the surrounding topography and landform of the road, the planar and vertical design of the road, the current situation and the hydrological characteristics of the planned river, as well as the development planning of the surrounding area of the road, and based on the principles of high water high discharge and low water low discharge, the catchment areas for mountain floodwater and pavement rainwater around the road are rationally divided. Through the detailed calculations, the rainwater drainage system of Wangpeng Avenue is rationally planned. The drainage issues of mountain floodwater and municipal rainwater on Wangpeng Avenue are solved from three aspects of slope roadbed drainage, pavement drainage and pumping station drainage in order to ensure that the road rainwater and mountain floodwater can be are discharged into the reliable downstream water bodies in the shortest time, and to prevent the occurrence of urban waterlogging.
