Abstract:The Longkungou North Rainwater Drainage Pumping Station is an important node project in the flood control and waterlogging drainage scheme for the Longkungou River Basin. The implementation of the pumping station project can effectively improve the waterlogging drainage capabilities of the area. The planned design flow of the pumping station is 80 m3/s, belonging to the pumping station with low head and large flow. And the pumping station is the built waterlogging drainage pumping station with the largest waterlogging drainage capacity in Hainan Province. The pump performances, environmental effect, engineering investment, operation, maintenance and other aspects are comprehensively compared and selected. The wet full-flow submersible pump is used with the fully underground layout type. The pump unit efficiency within the range of head is higher through the unit modelling test. The selection of the pump type can meet the safe operation requirements of the pumping station.
