Abstract:Taking the park water affected by the overflow pollution in a city in Fujian Province as an example, the application of water overflow pollution control and ecological restoration technology is explored. There are tributaries on the north and southeast sides of the park water. Although the sewage end interception and control have been implemented, the ecology of the park water is still severely affected by overflow pollution during the rainy season. In the near future, it is impossible to implement the complete separation of rainwater and sewage of pipe network. It is proposed to perfect the existing end interception system, to fully utilize the park water to set up the overflow weir in order to increase the overflow interception in rainy season, and to set up the integrated purification equipment and ecological wetland for the on-site treatment of the overflow to reduce the overflow pollution load in to park water. In addition, a multi-pond purification wetland system is constructed by the reconstruction of park water terrain. The engineering practice shows that the treatment measures of increasing the storage capacity, integrated purification equipment and ecological wetland for on-site treatment of overflow have obviously improved the water quality and transparency of park water, and the stability of ecological system, which provide the important reference for the effective alleviation of overflow pollution impact on the natural water ecosystems.
