Abstract:The Beijing Urban Sub-central Station Comprehensive Transportation Hub Project is located at the intersection of the “One-belt One-axis” spatial structures of the urban sub-center, which is a landmark project for the sub-center to open the urban framework and promote the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. The hub connects three rail transit lines of M6 Line, Pinggu Line and M101 Line, and two railway lines of Beijing-Tangshan Railway and Inter-city Liaison Line, which will become the largest underground comprehensive transportation hub in Asia. As a super-large complex structure with integrated design and construction of underground and above ground, the Beijing Sub-central Station Comprehensive Transportation Hub Project faces the major technical difficulties compared with traditional structure design, including the seismic calculation method of underground structure and temperature stress treatment method of super-long structure. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the project, the revised calculation assumption is adopted for this project, and the relevant topics are studied in a special subject, which provides a new solution for similar projects.
