Abstract:The Fuyang Gongwang Bridge is a girder-arch composite bridge integrating modern aesthetics and engineering technology. Its main bridge is a (35 m+2×95 m+35 m)-wide steel box girder-butterfly steel-arch composite system, which not only endows a distinctive appearance of bridge, but also ensures a rational stress of structure. Through the new skew curved steel-arch composite design, not only the visual effect of the bridge is enriched, but also the integral rigidity and stability of the bridge are enhanced. Furthermore, BIM technology is employed in the design and construction process of the bridge, which significantly increases the engineering efficiency and precision, and realizes the rapid industrialized construction of complex curved steel arch bridges. The design of the bridge cleverly combines the formal beauty of spatial composition with the functionality of structural stress to make it become a landmark building on the Beizhi River, which provides the new insights and reference for the design of urban landscape arch bridges.
