Abstract:As the only starting point of the Maritime Silk Road and the “East Asian Cultural Capital” recognized by UNESCO for Quanzhou, Quanzhou Municipal Government vigorously develops the tourism economy, actively integrates and enhances the tourism resources, accelerates the infrastructure construction, especially the construction of cross-river channels. Against this backdrop, the Jinli Bridge is born at the right moment. The Jinli Bridge is a cross-river channel connecting the Jiangnan and Beifeng clusters. Both sides are the built-up areas. The bridge layout is limited by many factors and the design difficulty is high. Combined with the current conditions and limited factors, the project route is cleverly laid and accurately designed. The great effort is put into solving the key and difficult problems, and the limited conditions are overcome to better realize the service function of the bridge to both sides of the river, and to improve the road network structure of the area. After the project is completed, a fast channel for the western part into Quanzhou of West Interchange — Jiangnan Avenue — Jinli Bridge — East Beiqing Road — Chengdong to Beifeng Expressway is formed, which promotes “cross-river integrated development”, and at the same time, also supports the development and construction of the World Minnan Cultural Exchange Center in the area of Beifeng Qingyuan Mountain Flower Expo Park, and promotes the dissemination of Maritime Silk Road Culture.
