Abstract:The site conditions of urban cross-river bridges are complex with multiple control factors and high requirements. The design of the bridge scheme needs to be determined by considering various factors in combination with the site conditions. Relying on the construction project of the Yiyang River Bridge in Yangzhou City, the feasible schemes of the main bridge are fully compared. Finally, the design scheme for a double-deck low-pylon cable-stayed bridge with novel structure and good landscape effect is recommended and adopted. In addition, the overall design of the main bridge in the recommended scheme is introduced, including overall layout, structural design, calculation and analysis in order to provide the assistance for the overall design of similar bridges.
