Abstract:The scale of the first phase of a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in southern China is 2.5×104 m3/d. Its process is the hydrolytic acidification + Carrousel oxidation ditch process, and the national secondary discharge standards are implemented. In the expansion and upgrading reconstruction project, the MBR process is used to upgrade and reconstruct the first phase of the project, and the combined process of MBR+ ozone contact oxidation + biological aerated filter is used to treat the industrial wastewater. After the reconstruction, the effluent of WWTP is discharged according to the level-A standard. Based on the analysis of the effluent quality of each section after being reconstructed, the application value of MBR process in upgrading reconstruction of WWTP and treatment of industrial wastewater is studied. The results show that after the reconstruction, the effluent of the first phase and second phase projects of the WWTP is stable and up to the standard. The average removal rate of CODcr and TP by the combined advanced treatment of ozone contact and biological aerated filter can reach 32.34% and 39.50%, which indicates that the MBR+ ozone + biological aerated filter process is suitable for the upgrading reconstruction project of industrial wastewater treatment.
