Abstract:Based on the Zhoujiazui Road Tunnel Project in Shanghai, the differences in construction techniques of urban prefabricated double-layer shield tunnel and cast-in-place shield tunnel are described in detail. On this basis, the economic benefits are compared and analyzed. From the perspective of engineering budget alone, the cost of prefabricated assembly is higher than that of cast-in-place. However, from the perspective of engineering practice, the prefabricated assembly technology ensures the quality safety, which significantly shortens the construction period of the structures (by more than 80%), reduces the on-site workers (by more than 80%), and achieves the professional, modern factory and high-quality personnel training, which is conducive to the long-term development of enterprises and industries.
