Abstract:The relationship between the traffic travel and urban space is highly coupled. The spatial layout and the land development determine the travel demand and distribution. The transportation facilities, especially the backbone transportation, have become the framework of urban space. The close connection between space and traffic provides a feasible basis for the correlation analysis of the both. The checkpoint data has the advantage of tracking the entire path and all time periods of motor vehicle travel, and can be used to accurately analyze the characteristics of motor vehicle travel. In order to quickly analyze the demands of motor vehicle travel possibly caused by the spatial development, taking the checkpoint data within the main urban area of C city as the basis, supplemented by the multi-source data such as road network data, mobile signaling data and land development building volume data, and through the fusion correlation analysis, the correlation characteristics of motor vehicle travel, urban space and land development are explored, and the relationship function among the motor vehicle travel, population positions and land development volume quantitatively calibrated, which provides the data support for upgrading the mutual adaptability of urban land planning and traffic facility layout.
