Abstract:Dongwan Bridge in an urban landscape bridge project is a curvilinear cable-stayed bridge without backstays. MIDAS software is used to establish a finite element analysis model of the bridge. The dynamic characteristics of the bridge are calculated, and the seismic analysis of the bridge is carried out by using the response spectrum method and time history analysis method. The calculation results show that the seismic performance of each component of the superstructure and substructure of the bridge meets the requirements of the design specifications. The relevant results can provide a reference for bridge designers.
