Abstract:In pipe jacking engineering, the stability of the soil behind the pipe jacking working shaft is a very important control index. Taking the rectangular open caisson pipe jacking working shaft as an example, the calculation methods for backward soil stability of different soil resistance distribution patterns under the jacking role are compared and analyzed. Based on the trapezoidal distribution pattern of soil resistance, a new method for calculating the stability of the backward soil of open caisson pipe jacking working shaft is proposed. Through the calculation and analysis, it is considered that the calculation method of linear distribution patterns is relatively conservative. For the shallow depth or poor soil quality of the open caisson, when the jacking force is high, the stability of backward soil of open caisson pipe jacking working shaft is calculated according to the trapezoidal distribution pattern, which is more economical under the premise of ensuring safety. The above results can provide reference for similar projects.
