Abstract:Through the factory prefabrication and on-site assembly of the prefabricated concrete pavement, the need for on-site maintenance is eliminated so as to greatly shorten the construction period and reduce the construction costs, which is also environmentally friendly and can improve the quality assurance of the pavement, and can be widely used in various scenarios such as urban roads, highways, airports, ports and parking lots. The key design contents of prefabricated concrete pavement include the pavement structure combination and slab thickness design, slab division design, slab structure design, slab reinforcement design and material design. The main design methods, key considerations, design essentials, calculation methods and other key technologies for each part are studied and introduced. Taking an urban road repair and maintenance project as an example, a full life-cycle cost analysis of prefabricated concrete pavements is conducted. From the perspective of direct economic benefits in the full life cycle, the prefabricated pavement scheme has certain advantages compared with the traditional asphalt pavement structures.
