Abstract:Taking the Guangzhou-Foshan New Highway Composite Channel Project as the background, three schemes in the design stage of composite channel bridge joints under the complex conditions are introduced. Combined with the constraints such as scope of land use, landscape impact, construction difficulty, engineering cost and social impact, the three schemes are compared. For the problem of whether the old bridge is used in the double-deck bridge, the finite element software is used to calculate the stress of the original bridge superstructure and substructure under the normal service state and the ultimate limit state of bearing capacity. The feasibility of each scheme is analyzed. In addition, the key points in the design process of double-deck bridge joint scheme are summarized, and the overall design ideas of the bridge are explained, which provides the experience and reference for the other engineering projects in the future.
