Abstract:The municipal rivers, as main water crossing channels in cities, play the role of holding water and are the important channels of flood control and waterlogging drainage. The surrounding environmental conditions restrict the implementation of river regulation projects, and also impact the selection of design schemes. Taking the Zhejiang Province Jiaxing City Chezhan Port River Regulation Project as an example, and due to the presence of existing buildings around, there are strict control requirements for the side slope, retaining wall displacement and surrounding soil settlement during the implementation of the regulation project. Therefore, the wide-base retaining wall design scheme and the side slope reinforcement measures are proposed in the design process. And combined with the construction steps, the finite element simulation calculation is carried out to certify the rationality of the design scheme, which provides the valuable insights and references for the design of municipal river regulation projects under the complex environmental conditions.
