Abstract:For the construction of overweight and ultra-high steel box girders in marine environments, various schemes such as “large segment hoisting and integral incremental launching”, “small segment hoisting and and slippage” and “ultra-large floating crane and in-situ erection” are commonly used for construction. Combined with the construction of steel box girders for the approach of Lingdingyang Bridge in the Shenzhong Channel Project, under the premise of ensuring the construction progress, the problems of limited anchorage area, difficulty in determining the schedule of large floating cranes, and high rental costs are also solved. Based on the above schemes, through multiple comparisons and optimizations, it is finally determined to adopt the large segment hoisting and integral incremental launching technology of “integral span hoisting + temporary support piers + front and rear steel guide beams + walking jacks + intelligent monitoring”. For the first time in China, the multi-point synchronous continuous incremental launching of high piers, large spans and overweight steel box girders under the harsh sea conditions are realized including the intelligent linkage monitoring, which ensure that the linear shape of the girder segment, and the stress and strain are controllable during the incremental launching of box girder. The erection of steel box girder is safely and efficiently completed in the area above the anchorage.
