Abstract:As a new type of "urban disease", urban waterlogging poses many challenges to the healthy development of cities. Optical Valley Central City is one of the scientific and technological innovation highlands of Wuhan and even the whole country. In order to ensure its waterlogging prevention and control work with a definite objective in view, the “Hongye Rainstorm Drainage and Low-impact Development Simulation System” is developed by SWMM model to simulate the process of runoff surface waterlogging under the rainfall condition of once in 50 a for the Optical Valley Center City after the completion of drainage network and water system. The waterlogging risk is analyzed and assessed. Combined with the results of analysis and evaluation, a trinity integrated system of drainage, waterlogging prevention and flood control is built specially from three aspects of drainage network, runoff control and storage, and superstandard rainwater channels. An optimal design scheme is proposed. After optimized, the area of the Red I risk zone is reduced by 44.9%, the area of the Orange II risk zone is reduced by 19.0%, the area of the Yellow III risk zone is reduced by 27.8%, and the area of the Blue IV risk zone is reduced by 11.3%. The overall waterlogging risk in the central city is reduced by 21.1%. The waterlogging risk in the area is significantly improved.
