Abstract:With the sustained development of urbanization, the early urban wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) generally bear the treatment scale beyond the design capacity, and need to be further expanded. In the expansion process, it is inevitable to encounter the problem that the construction of new structures will have adverse effects on the existing structures, in which the squeezing effect caused by the construction of prefabricated piles is extremely obvious. Based on the principle of "cylindrical cavity expansion method", the general finite element software ANSYS is used to calculate and analyze the squeezing effect of prefabricate pile construction on the surrounding rebuilt structures in a project. In the calculation, the effect of soil consolidation and shrinkage around pile is innovatively considered, which provides the data support for the decision making of the engineering foundation treatment scheme. At the same time, it can provide a quantitative calculation method to analyze the soil squeezing effect of prefabricated pile construction for similar projects in the future.
