Abstract:To conduct an in-depth analysis on the impact of the construction of the flood control wall along the Huangpu River on the deformation of existing tunnels, the Plaxis finite element software is used to simulate the deformation of the existing shield tunnels during the construction of the flood control wall pile foundations. Based on a comparative analysis of the simulation results and the monitoring data of tunnel deformation during the construction period, the influence of superloading above the tunnel, and the clear distance between the bored cast-in-place piles and the tunnel on the settlement of the tunnel are further discussed. The research findings indicate that the Plaxis finite element model can effectively simulate the impact of flood control wall construction on the existing tunnels and can serve as an important tool for subsequent analysis. The closer the distance between the pile foundation and the tunnel, the more significant the tunnel deformation becomes. When the distance is less than 1.7 m, the tunnel deformation exceeds the alarm threshold. The influence of superloading above the tunnel on tunnel settlement is relatively insensitive.
