Abstract:A detection technology that can be used for operating pipelines has been developed to address the limitations of existing pipeline detection technologies. This technology includes optical imaging and sonar imaging. Optical imaging includes a front facing camera, while sonar imaging includes a circumferential and front facing high-resolution sonar probe, which can be used for endoscopic imaging of pipelines with full water and low visibility. When the visibility of the pipeline is high, optical cameras can be used in conjunction for imaging, while sonar cameras can be used for imaging when the visibility is low. The technology can detect both functional and structural defects in pipelines. The resolution ratio can be up to millimeters. The technology is equipped with suspension and stealth power devices, which is suitable for various complex pipeline environments. This technology greatly makes up for the deficiencies of conventional methods in detecting operating pipelines.
