Abstract:Taking the Hainan G98 Roundabout Expressway Maintenance and Repair Project as the background, with the goal of low-carbon environmental protection and green development, some superficial suggestions and experimental data are proposed for the efficient recycling and utilization of public waste asphalt generated in the maintenance and repair projects. Three different types of reclaiming agent are selected that are made of vegetable oil, petroleum fractions and synthetic form. Four kinds of different dosages (5%, 7%, 9% and 11%) are mixed into the aged asphalt to prepare three types of recycled asphalts A, B and C respectively, and the performance tests are carried out. The experimental results show that the optimal dosage of the three reclaiming agents is 7%. Under the same dosage, the penetration, softening point and ductility of C reclaiming agent are the closest to the performance indicators of new asphalt. The BBR experimental result shows that compared with the other two recycled asphalts, the stiffness modulus growth trend and creep rate decline trend of C recycled asphalt are the slowest, which explains that it has the better low-temperature performance and low-temperature crack resistance. Based on the above experimental results, the synthetic reclaiming agent in this study is the best one and its optimal dosage is 7%.
