Abstract:As an important node of Guangfo Bridge System Engineering (Phase Ⅰ) Project, Baisha Bridge is located in the central planned area of the Guangzhou-Foshan border and the Guangzhou-Foshan urban integration. Considering the navigation, flood control, river dredging and other factors, Baisha Bridge is an asymmetric single-pylon steel-concrete composite girder cable-stayed bridge with the spans 120 m+150 m. The bridge features a longitudinal herringbone main pylon, and the pylon height is 100.5 m. The pylon above the bridge deck is 74.9 m high and is a structural system with the pylon and beam consolidated. The lower part of the pylon is concrete and the upper part of pylon is steel, with a steel-concrete composite section in the middle. The main girder is a steel-concrete composite girder. The standard bridge width is 40.2 m. The left and right widths are respectively single-box single-chamber steel box girders. The prefabricated concrete bridge deck is laid on top, and the middle part is connected by steel crossbeams. The stayed cable is the central double cable planes. The cable distance of side span is 8 m, the cable distance of the main span is 12 m, and the pylon anchor cable spacing is 2 m. The overall shape of Baisha Bridge is beautiful, which is of great significance to realize the urban integration of Guangzhou and Foshan.
