Abstract:The calculation of creep formula for an existing concrete-filled steel tube bridge is complex and difficult to popularize and apply in the projects. The relationship formula of creep coefficient is derived, and the creep effect is equivalent to temperature load for the application in MIDAS Civil software. Based on a concrete-filled steel tube bridge, the creep equivalent temperature is calculated. Furthermore, two models are established (considering the restraint effect of steel pipe and not considering the restraint effect of steel pipe). Through the calculation and analysis, it is found that the error in the key construction stage under the two working conditions is about 50%. The coefficient used in creep calculation should take into account the restraint effect of steel pipes.
