Abstract:With the acceleration of urbanization, the demand for urban transport is growing, and the shortage of land resources is becoming increasingly prominent. To meet the demands for urban transport and enhance the traffic efficiency, the double-deck truss bridge, as an efficient traffic organization scheme, is being used more and more widely in urban interchange design. Taking Longxi Interchange in the Guangzhou Ruyifang Radial System Project (Phase II) as an example, the design practice of double-deck steel truss bridge in the urban expressway main line and auxiliary road cross-river schemes is analyzed. The technical characteristics, application advantages, challenges faced and future development directions of double-deck truss bridges are further discussed, which aims to provide the useful reference and insights for the construction of urban transport.
