Abstract:An urban furniture industry town in the southwest region mainly produces wastewater from the home furnishing industry, crystal jewelry and aluminum industry. The scale of the wastewater treatment plant in the park is 6 000 m3/d. The effluent complies with the standards of the Min-Tuo River in Sichuan Province (DB51 2311—2016). The content of CODCr, TN and F ion in the influent is relatively high (500, 50, 10 mg/L). The requirements for tailwater indicators are strict (30, 10, 1.5 mg/L). To meet the requirements of tailwater discharge, the pre-treatment + defluorination primary settling tank + hydrolysis acidification tank + five-part Bardenpho biochemical tank + catalytic oxidation + carbon adsorption efficient settling tank are adopted as the main treatment processes. The hydrolysis, biochemistry and sedimentation functions of the three-part biochemical tank are integrated, and the intensive design improves the efficiency of land use. The removal effects of organic matter, TN, TP and F are explored by adding pre-nitrification and oxygen release zones to the biochemical tank and adding activated carbon to the efficient settling tank.
