Abstract:With the development of urban transportation, the widening reconstruction of the existing bridge structures has gradually increased in recent years in engineering construction. How to quickly and safely widen the special bridges under the design constraints has become another focus of bridge design. Based on the practical engineering, the design concept of reconstruction and splicing of channel bridges in overpass reconstruction due to limited conditions are studied and discussed. The key issues in the splicing design of new and old bridges, such as the analysis of the service status of the old bridge, the selection of the structural form of the widened bridge, the coordination of the splicing deflection of the new and old bridges, and the detailed treatment of the bridge deck joints are analyzed and discussed, which have reference significance for the widening design of special bridges in the future.
