Abstract:Taking a drainage upgrade project in Shanghai as an example, based on domestic pipe jacking and pipe withdrawal project instances and existing design and construction standards, this paper proposes the installation of devices such as built-in relay chambers, steel strand separators, and brackets to address the technical issues of providing reaction force and arranging steel strands in long-distance curved pipe withdrawal. The successful implementation of the pipe withdrawal work indicates that this method can provide reliable retraction reaction force in long-distance pipe withdrawal and serves as a reference for other similar long-distance curved pipe withdrawal projects.
