Abstract:As an important part of the low-capacity rail transit system, the rail-mounted rubber wheel system (Yunba) has been put into operation and construction in many major cities in China, and has received extensive attention from governments at all levels in recent years. This system has the advantages such as short construction period, low construction cost, less operation and management, high travel efficiency, low energy consumption and low noise. In order to guide the high-quality development of this system, and combined with the Yunba construction project in the Jinan High-tech East Area, the design essentials of passenger flow, transference, laying position and other aspects in the planning and design process are summarized, which provides the reference for the future planning and design of the rail-mounted rubber wheel system (Yunba).
