Abstract:In order to discuss the problem of span selection in the design of prefabricated curved bridge, the differences between the parallel arrangement and the radial arrangement are compared and analyzed. It is concluded that the radial arrangement method of beam layout has a wider application range and is more conducive to engineering design and construction. Aiming at the radial arrangement method, after the summary and analysis of the influencing factors on the design of beam layout, it is found that the planar curve radius of the bridge and the value of the maximum allowable cantilever adjustment length of the side beam are the main factors affecting the span selection of prefabricated beam curved bridges, and the bridge width and beam segment length are the secondary factors. In order to facilitate the engineering application, a general formula applicable for the span range is derived, and a span selection table for the design of curved bridges is given according to the spans and structure types of prefabricated beams commonly used in engineering, which provides a basis for quick judgment of the superstructure style and span applicability of curved bridge, and can be used for reference in the design of the superstructures of prefabricated curved bridge.
