Abstract:Wanfu Expressway is the second horizontal line within the urban expressway network of Yangzhou, is the primary connecting channel between the main city and Jiangdu urban area, and is also the main service road for the expanded East Yangzhou Railway Station. The overall construction scale is determined according to the traffic demand forecast. Combined with the construction conditions, the best use of the existing roads and bridges is made. The focus is on the analysis of the implementation schemes for three nodes, namely Chunfengshili Road, Jinwan River Toudao Bridge and Jinwan Expressway. The factors of traffic function, railway safety, environmental impact and investment control are comprehensively considered to form a reasonable overall design scheme, which can provide the useful references for railway-related interchange design, cross-waterway bridge reconstruction and similar interchange schemes.
