Abstract:The rapid and effective identification of sudden water pollution events is the important content in the research and development of on-line water quality monitoring technologies. Based on the construction of an online water quality analysis instrument performance index system that includes six dimensions of real-time responsiveness, measurement accuracy, identifiability, correctability, adaptability and scalability, the performances of chemical and optical online water quality analyzers in response to sudden water pollution events are systematically analyzed and evaluated. The results show that in response to the sudden water pollution events, both chemical and optical instruments have certain deficiencies in measurement accuracy, but in terms of real-time responsiveness, identifiability, correctability, adaptability and scalability, the chemical instrumentation performance is average, while the optical instrumentation has a better performance.
