Abstract:Taking the superimposed co-construction design of rainwater pumping station and initial rainwater storage tank in a built industrial area of Tianjin Binhai New Area as an example, the layout, influent pattern and control scheme of the system are explored in order to achieve the purpose of saving land, decreasing equipment, reducing investment and ensuring safe operation of drainage system. In this project, the up-and-down superimposed method is adopted. The initial rainwater storage tank and the rainwater pump house share a set of intake sluice well and intake grid well. An initial rainwater intercepting ditch is set in front of the rainwater collection tank behind the grid well to effectively collect the initial rainwater. The initial rainwater is introduced into the lower initial rainwater storage tank. The rainwater level of the storage tank is automatically controlled through the float valve to ensure the reasonable flow management of the storage tank. In the middle and late stages, the rainwater is lifted by the pumping station and discharged out. Even if there is a sudden rainstorm, the rainwater exceeding the standard can instantly exceed the initial rainwater interception ditch, enter the rainwater collection tank, and be discharged out by the rainwater pump to ensure the smooth drainage in the area.
