Abstract:As the first linear park in Nanjing, Yuhua Linear Park is mainly in the form of bridges, creating an ecological and low-carbon urban sharing space in the city, and also carrying various functions such as citizen transportation, leisure and social interaction. The total length of the bridge is about 1.2 km with a standard width of 5 m, standard spans of 20 m and 25 m, and spans of 36 m, 40 m and 48.81 m at intersections, which is an urban slow-traffic bridge designed specifically for pedestrians and non-motorized vehicles. Based on the characteristics of the project, the overall design concept, structural system comparison and decorative details of the bridge structure are introduced. Taking the bridge spanning South Meiyuan Road as an example, the static analysis, dynamic characteristic analysis and pedestrian comfort evaluation are conducted on the bridge. The results indicate that the strength and stiffness of the bridge structure meet the requirements of the specifications. After the addition of TMD, the peak values of vertical and horizontal acceleration of the bridge deck are significantly reduced, and the pedestrian comfort meets the CL1 level of the German pedestrian bridge specification.
