Abstract:The double-row PC pile enclosure is used in the foundation pit of the newly built lift pump house and ozone contact tank in a waterworks in Shanghai. Firstly, the engineering application status and standard specifications of PC pile enclosure are analyzed. Then, referring to the steel and concrete composite structure, the top connection nodes of double-row PC pile enclosure are designed. The numerical simulation model is used to analyze the impact on the surrounding environment during the excavation process of the foundation pit, and the results are compared with the field measurements. The results show that the excavation process of the foundation pit for the lift pump house using double-row PC piles is safe and reliable, without impact on the surrounding environment. Compared with the enclosure of double-row bored cast-in-place piles, the enclosure of double-row PC piles are more convenient in the construction, which can greatly reduce the construction period. The PC piles can be reused, which can greatly save engineering costs.
