Abstract:With the continuous growth of the scale of WWTPs, the demand for municipal sludge reduction and disposal in cities is increasing day by day. Taking a sludge treatment and disposal center Phase Ⅱ expansion project in a city in Hainan Province as an example, the selection and design parameters of sludge deep dewatering technology are introduced. Combined with the final treatment outlet of the sludge and the current treatment process of Phase I, the treatment technology of "gravity + mechanical thickening, chemical conditioning, plate-frame pressure filtration" is determined to use in the project. The sludge treatment scale of this project is 100 t/d (80% moisture content). The moisture content of the finished sludge is required to below 55%, and then the sludge is transported out for incineration together with the domestic waste. The unit treatment cost is about 331.42 yuan/t. The project has been successfully implemented and is in operation, which can provide the reference for the design of similar projects.
