Abstract:The collapsible loess is widely distributed in the area where Lanzhou New Area is located. In the process of roadbed design for collapsible loess sections of urban roads, the application of the plain soil compacted pile treatment technology can enhance the bearing capacity and strength of the roadbed, eliminate the collapsibility and uneven settlement of the roadbed and reduce the impact on buildings and structures around the road. Taking the roadbed design of East Weiliu Road in Lanzhou New Area as the main line, the method of plain soil compacted pile to treat the collapsible loess roadbed is summarized and analyzed. The construction preparation, construction technical essentials, and the applicable conditions, advantages and disadvantages of plain soil compacted pile for the foundation treatment are especially discussed, which can provide certain references for the design of similar urban road projects.
