Abstract:With the development of urban pedestrian bridges in the direction of lightness and beauty, the comfort problem of pedestrian bridges has become more and more prominent. In order to study the vibration problem of a double-girder inclined-web steel plate composite beam pedestrian bridge with a main span of 43 m under the action of pedestrian load, the finite element calculation software is used to simulate the dynamic response of bridge structure under the pedestrian excitation load, and the influence of different mass dampers on the dynamic response of the structure is compared. The results show that the vertical vibration modes of the first and second orders of the bridge may be excited, and the comfort checking calculation needs to be carried out. The damper parameters should be reasonably designed according to different natural vibration modes to meet the comfort requirements. The increase in the mass of the damper helps to control the dynamic response of the structure, but the relationship between the two is not linear.
