Abstract:With the continuous advancement of urban development and the steady improvement of the life quality of the people, the long-span special-shaped steel landscape footbridges are gradually playing a more prominent role in urban landscape shaping. To satisfy the landscape characteristics of footbridges, the most of the bridges are the long-span steel structures, and the structures are relatively thin and light. As a result, the fundamental frequency of the structure is lower, which easily triggers the resonance between human and the bridge. Therefore, the issue of pedestrian comfort has also attracted more attention. Through the analysis on the dynamic characteristics of a long-span steel landscape footbridge, the methods of theoretical calculations and finite element simulation are used to further study the comfort of the bridge, and the corresponding control measures are proposed in order to provide the reference basis for the design and construction of the similar bridges, and to ensure the pedestrians with the good experience on the bridges.
