Abstract:The evaluation of the engineering effects of water ecological protection and restoration is of great significance for engineering design, implementation and later management. The evaluation system for the engineering effects of water ecological protection and restoration with a total of 16 individual indicators including habitat restoration effect, water quality improvement effect, biological restoration effect, engineering management effect and public satisfaction is built. The main methods for evaluating the engineering effects of water ecological protection and restoration including the evaluation method of individual indicators, the determination of index weights, and the comprehensive evaluation are proposed. And taking Mochou Lake in Nanjing as an example, the engineering effects are evaluated. The evaluation results show that the engineering effects of water ecological protection and restoration of Mochou Lake are extremely remarkable, the water ecological system is extremely stable, and the health condition is excellent, rated as outstanding.
