Abstract:The presentation and collaboration needs of the municipal water engineering industry is addressed, focusing on solving the problems of insufficient expression of design information, non-intuitive presentation of plans, and difficulties in creating 3D presentation materials in traditional presentation modes. Based on the digital twin model as the foundation, a 3D collaborative platform based on BIM + GIS is developed to assist engineering designers in quickly building 3D presentation plans and promoting refined management of engineering projects. The platform solution has been applied in the presentation and collaboration practices of many projects, such as the third-phase expansion project of Wuxi Taihu New Town Sewage Treatment Plant. The platform's technical route is feasible, the presentation form is novel, and the effect is good, receiving unanimous praise from the owner and other participating units.
