Abstract:With the increasing shortage of urban development land and the continuous extension of development boundaries, it has become the norm to build industrial parks in the far suburban mountainous areas. Different from the urban roads, the conditions of geology, mountain torrents, slopes, cultivated land restrictions and existing river channels in the far suburban mountainous areas are more complex. Combined with the construction of infrastructure and supporting road network in the Environmental Technology Industrial Park in Shenzhen Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone, by analyzing the layout, transportation needs, functional orientation, and land use along the route of the industrial park, the traffic characteristics of the park are discussed to verify the layout and scale of the road network, and the overall scheme of the project is introduced. And the measures for project cross-design, underpass nodes for expressway, and mountain torrent interception and drainage are analyzed and demonstrated. The useful reference is provided for similar cases encountered in the construction of supporting road networks during urban development and utilization of far suburban mountainous areas.
