Abstract:In order to explore the cause of pavement collapse in the affected area of a reservoir in Sichuan, through the field investigation, the comparative analysis method is used and the seepage model is established to analyze the causes of collapse and the mechanism of disaster formation. And the prevention and control suggestions are proposed. The research results show that the site area is widely distributed with thick layers of silt. The sewage pipes are located in two bearing strata of silt and pebbles, providing the basic conditions for uneven ground settlement and ground collapse. The deeply buried drainage ditches have been in disrepair for a long time and are partially damaged, providing the channels for seepage and soil particle loss. The rise and fall of the reservoir water level provide the hydrodynamic conditions for seepage, and the pumping and discharge of sewage further increase the seepage head difference. It is suggested to adopt the grouting reinforcement, gravel backfill, steel pipe pile reinforcement and other preventive measures, and the comprehensive survey on the diseases of underground rainwater and sewage pipes is carried out, which can provide reference for the prevention and control of similar pavement collapses.
