Abstract:A high embankment project with a central filling height of 26.5m was carried out on a sloping foundation. In order to protect the civil buildings at the foot of the slope, n embedded anti-slide piles were used to reinforce the high fill. The maximum displacement of the anti-slide piles was 15cm after the completion of the high fill construction. In this paper, MIDAS GTS software is used to analyze the safety factor, pile displacement, internal force and slope displacement of the reinforced slope, and the back analysis is carried out in combination with the on-site pile displacement monitoring results. It shows that the anti-slide pile can significantly improve the safety factor and limit the displacement of the slope along the inclined foundation; despite the slope safety factor is high, the top and toe of the anti-slide pile will still have large displacement .Under rainfall conditions, the mechanical parameters of filling materials should be reduced by 0.8 times. This paper provides a reference for the reinforcement design and numerical research of high fill.
