Abstract:Aiming at the issue of reusing the 20 m-span hollow slab girders after demolition in the expressway reconstruction project, a reuse strategy of slab girders based on the verification of the transverse distribution coefficient of loads is proposed. Firstly, based on the hinged plate girder theory, the theoretical value of the transverse distribution coefficient of the mid-span load of the slab girder with tongue-and-groove hinge joints is obtained. Then, based on the elastic foundation beam theory and the beam grillage theory respectively, the transverse vehicle distribution coefficients of the mid-span load without the hinge joints are calculated. The calculation results show that the relationship between the transverse distribution coefficient of load and the thickness of the pavement layer under the two theories is completely consistent, but the transverse distribution coefficients of the load calculated by the beam grillage method is slightly larger than that calculated by the elastic foundation beam theory. Under the beam grillage theory, when the thickness of the pavement layer reaches 15 cm, the transverse distribution coefficient of the plate girder without hinge joints is basically consistent with the design value. In the later stage, the reuse of hollow slab girders can be achieved by rationally designing the thickness of the concrete pavement layer.
