Abstract:With the rapid development of high-speed railway construction in China, the large-sized high-speed railway hubs have evolved from a single traffic node to the core carrier of urban integrated transportation system. The design of supporting road for the high-speed railway hub directly affects the gathering and distribution efficiency of the hub and the development of urban functions in the region. Taking the North Zhanqian Road of the supporting road for Changsha West High-speed Railway Station as an example, the engineering overview, main technical indicators, overall design, traffic organization and construction time series of the project are analyzed. The focus is on solving the road design and construction problems of the elevated on-ramp access of the West High-speed Railway Station, the taxi turn-round and return of the West High-speed Railway Station, the intersection traffic organization and the construction time series, which provides some reference for the design and construction of municipal roads supporting similar high-speed railway hubs.
