Abstract:Yunwei Waterway is a branch river connection channel in the water system of Maluan Bay New Town in Xiamen City, which mainly undertakes the functions of collecting the mountain rainwater and urban floodwater, maintaining the water quality and ecology, and providing a landscape. As an important part of the inner bay water system of the new town, the construction of Yunwei Waterway is an important measure to achieve the flood control and waterlogging drainage safety, improve the water ecological environment, and ensure the sustainable utilization of water resources in the area. Taking the construction of Yunwei Waterway as the research object, various element guarantees that need to be considered in the engineering construction and the key points of river embankment design under the constraints of these element guarantees are analyzed. The focus is on the analysis of the balance among the land use conditions restrictions, flood discharge requirements and engineering cost. Through the measures such as limited width design and special node protection, the organic unity of land use limited width and river design under the complex boundary conditions has been achieved.
