Abstract:The flood control walls of Huangpu River and Suzhou River are the main engineering measures for flood control and tide prevention in Shanghai, which play an important role in ensuring the normal operation of the city and the safety of people's lives and properties in defending against the four major disasters of wind, storm, tide and flood. With the increasing number of construction projects carried out around the embankments along the Huangpu River and Suzhou River in Shanghai, the impact of pile foundation construction on the structural safety of the adjacent flood control wall has become an engineering problem needed for special attention. The finite element software PLAXIS is used to simulate the impact of displacement pile construction on the adjacent flood control walls, the displacement law of the flood control wall structure under the influence of pile foundation construction is quantitatively analyzed, and the key influence parameters are determined, which can be used for the embankment management along the Huangpu River and the Suzhou River.
