Abstract:With the acceleration of urbanization, traffic congestion and environmental pollution have become increasingly serious. Non-motorized vehicles, as an environmentally friendly and healthy mode of transportation, have gradually become more important. The popularization of shared bicycles provides an effective solution to the "last-mile" problem, and the proportion of non-motorized vehicle travel is also increasing year by year. In order to sustain the positive development of non-motorized transportation, it is necessary to create a more friendly riding environment. However, many large bridges are not designed with full consideration of the traffic needs of non-motorized vehicles, which leads to many inconveniences for non-motorized vehicle drivers, and many large rivers are still the obstacles that non-motorized vehicles cannot overcome. Through the research on the non-motorized vehicle cross-river scheme of Ningbo Changhong Bridge, the traffic organization mode of non-motorized vehicles crossing the river is discussed, which provides the reference and guidance for the optimization of non-motorized vehicle cross-river traffic organization.
