Abstract:As the construction of sponge cities enters a stage of systematic demonstration throughout the entire region, the construction of sponge cities should not only be implemented through the goal-oriented approaches in new and upcoming projects, but also through problem-oriented approaches in reconstruction and expansion projects. Taking the sponge reconstruction of a student dormitory area as an example, combined with the current situation research to identify problems and starting from problem-oriented and goal-oriented approaches, a source emission reduction strategy of "permeable pavement + rainwater pipe disconnection + biological retention facilities" is proposed to the current problems such as waterlogging, dilapidated drainage facilities and poor green landscape effects, and simultaneously verify the accessibility of the construction goals of sponge cities in order to provide reference and insights for the application of source emission reduction strategies in the sponge-oriented reconstruction of the built-up areas.
