Abstract:Taking the Hengmenxi Special Bridge as the engineering background, the "pylon-girder synchronous" installation technology in the construction of a double-plane steel box girder cable-stayed bridge is studied. On the basis of analyzing the mechanical interaction among the pylon, girder and cables, as well as the fundamental principles of the "pylon-girder synchronous" installation, an optimization scheme for the pylon-girder synchronous” construction process is proposed. This scheme encompasses the pre-construction preparations, pylon-girder synchronous installation procedure, key technical points, and quality and safety assurance measures. Compared with the traditional construction techniques, the "pylon-girder synchronous" installation technology has the significant advantages in shortening the construction period, reducing the safety risks and ensuring the quality, and shows the broad application prospects in bridge projects of different types and scales.
